We are thrilled that Tanner did so well at the National Specialty. He was awarded the Best in Versatility Dog and in the Best of Breed Competition, he was Select dog with an Award of Merit.

Tanner came home with three of his daughters from Europe: Fiona from France, Landon from Estonia & Liina from Finland.
They jumped out of the crate after crossing the Atlantic Ocean like they had just traveled down the street to the market. They have taken over. We love them!
French Connection du Hameau des Baronnies aka FIONA came to live with us,
Ridon Hennet Highland Park aka LANDON went to our dear friends Christine & Michael at Blue Moon Bernese in Boulder CO, and Funatic Nuthin' But Fun aka LIINA lives with the Stallard family in Richmond VA.

see these girls to grow!

SEPTEMBER 12, 2010: Tanner BIS-3!!!!
What a day... Tanner Banner at Porvoo All Breed Show in Finland: BOB, GROUP 1st and 3rd BEST IN SHOW !!!!!! Competition was tough and he beated some of the top all breed dogs in the country! The show had over 2800 entries, all breeds.
What a wonderful day for Tuuli and Tanner, Bluemoon Bernese, and us here at Blackrock. Tuuli has done such a beautiful job with our boy and we just love her. Can't wait to see her, and the man soon...
We are in seventh heaven!

Vantaa 9/11/2010: Tanner BOS, Zalaparti-Berni Cherry Queen Dantalian BOB
Tanner took six weeks off from the show rings and is back in business: BOS at the Group Specialty in Vantaa Finland. Well done!

Tanner went 2nd in Champion dogs and then 2nd Best Dog at the Finnish National Specialty! Thank you Nelli for showing Tanner :-)

JULY 17-18, 2010: Estonia & Latvia
A great weekend in Estonia and Latvia for Tanner!
On Saturday Tanner participated the International Show in Pärnu. He was 2nd best male with res.CACIB. The CAC and new title were so close... On Sunday in Ogre All Breed Show in Latvia Tanner was best male with CAC and became a Latvian Champion and took BOB and GROUP 3! Way to go Tanner & Tuuli!

TANNER AT THE WORLD DOG SHOW
Tanner and Tuuli attended the World Dog Show in Herning, Denmark on June 27, 2010.
Tanner received Excellent rating and we're so thrilled with that because I know he is not in great coat. It makes me very happy that he is still his old happy self loving all of the people.

Big weekend
in Richmond: Matt was WD, BW and BOB for his CH.. He is undefeated in the US since I have been showing him. He is truly a wonderful dog and I will be sad to see him go back home.
I have just enjoyed this guy so much! Having him here had made Tanner being away a little easier. Thank you Eve...

Tanner has a new Champion offspring! CH Anastasia's Diggin For Gold was WD for a 3 pt. major and finished his CH tiltle at the Progressive Dog Club Of Wayne County in Michigan on Saturday.
That makes 4 Champion offspring for Tanner!

January 2010
Tanner is off and running for 2010.
In the first couple of weekends in January, Tanner has placed 3 times in the Group: a Group 3 and two Group 2's.
December 2009
It's official! TANNER is #1 BMD in the breed 2009!
During this amazing year Tanner took 14 Group 1's and over 40 Group placements, he also finished his Canadian Champion title (and was #4 BMD in Canada), finished his CD and NDD titles and became a BMDCA Versatility Dog!
What a ride!
Big news!
As of November 30, 2009, Tanner is #1 Bernese.
We have to wait until the end of December to see how he makes out.
At the Lehigh Valley KC Weekend.. Tanner was Back to Back Group 1. It has been a great year.
Also..
Tanner son Tug.. Lewa's Ya Gotta Believe was WD on Saturday at Lehigh Valley.. He is just looking for majors to finsh.
And Tanner daughter Apple. Anastasia's Forbidden Fruit was WB and Best in Sweeps in Cleveland OH.
Great Job to all of those who own the Tanner kids. We look forward to a wonderful 2010... Merry Christmas to all of you...
